CelebAI is a facial recognition tool that compares your face against 1,431+ celebrities using AWS Rekognition. No filters. No vibes. Geometric similarity scores based on the actual structure of your face.
How it works
The methodology
When you upload a photo, AWS Rekognition detects your face and maps 128 facial landmarks — the corners of your eyes, the edges of your mouth, the contour of your jawline. Those landmarks are converted into a numerical vector that represents your facial geometry.
That vector is compared against every celebrity in our database using cosine similarity. The result is a ranked list of your closest matches by geometric overlap — not hair colour, not skin tone, not styling. Bone structure and proportions.
The database currently contains 1,431 celebrities across 25 categories, each indexed from multiple verified reference photos for stable, repeatable matching. We are actively expanding toward 2,000+.
Privacy
Your photo. Your data.
Photos are auto-deleted within 60 minutes. Results are stored locally on your device. No account is required to use CelebAI.
No facial embeddings derived from your photo are retained. The feature vector exists only for the duration of the matching operation.
