The app collects face data when users photograph or upload images for celebrity comparison. Additionally, anonymized usage metrics are gathered via Mixpanel to monitor app performance and identify technical issues.
2. How We Use Your Information
Face photos are analyzed through AWS Rekognition to determine similarity scores against celebrity facial features. Results remain stored locally on your device. During Challenge Mode (multiplayer competitions), photos are retained on company servers to enable score comparisons among participants.
3. Disclosure of Your Information
Data sharing occurs with AWS for photo analysis and temporary storage, Supabase for Challenge Mode functionality, and Mixpanel for anonymized analytics. Legal disclosures may occur when required by law or necessary to protect organizational rights.
4. Data Storage and Retention
Party and Category modes store photos in AWS S3 (US-East-1) for 60 minutes before automatic deletion. Challenge Mode maintains photos in Supabase for 30 days. Local device results persist indefinitely unless manually deleted by users.
5. Security
Industry-standard encryption protects photo transmission to AWS and Supabase servers. Mixpanel receives anonymized data only. Device-level security depends on user settings.
6. Your Rights
Users may request early photo deletion from Challenge Mode. Comparison results remain locally accessible. No personal accounts are maintained.
